Debris pickup from curb (Street), when?
Kaufman County does not have a timeframe yet. Most likely it will be later in July. We should know for sure by mid-July. Thank you in advance for your patience.
UPDATE - 7/29
The wait is almost over for debris pickup! We met with the county contractor today, and he stated they will begin picking up debris in the County by the end of the week. They're not sure yet where they will start, but indications are Oak Ridge will be sooner than later.
If you have not already done so, bring all storm related debris out near the street.
Residents on 34 - Do not place on highway shoulder. 1. It is dangerous for you to be close to the highway. 2. Chance of debris could be on the highway. 3. Debris would be in the for safe passage in case of an emergency.
